For February 2024 several of us will be participating in the “30-Day RE Coach4aday Challenge”. The challenge involves utilizing a word that includes the prefix Re. Today my word is RELIVE.

In the kitchen, contemporary appliances offer cooks the convenience of reheating various food items. Options include an air fryer, microwave, skillet, or oven. When it comes to reviving leftover barbecue, my friend John Tanner has some valuable tips on achieving the best results for bringing chopped pork back or an entire Boston Butt to its original deliciousness.

Rules of the Challenge

Organizing the 30-Day RE Coach4aday Challenge involves performing, writing, or sharing about an event that captures the essence of the prefix. connections.

Here is how to participate.

  1. Identify what word that uses the prefix RE you choosing for the day. It is okay to repeat words.
  2. Describe or share how you accomplished utilizing that word.
  3. Do this daily for 30 Days posting on social media with the hashtag #Coach4adayChallenge

Day 5-Reheat Barbecue

First let’s define barbecue as we know it in North Carolina. It is pork and the type preferred to me is “Whole Hog” or “Eastern Style”-in this method everything but the hog’s squeal is chopped. When you cook an entire hog, or a Boston Butt you may have leftovers. That is where John Tanner can save the day especially with the “Boston Butt”.

Here is a link to John’s tips on how to REHEAT Barbecue.

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
