In the February 2024 30-Day Challenge, the spotlight will be on the prefix “RE.” This prefix, indicating a backward motion or repetition, signals that something will be revisited or repeated. The challenge revolves around daily highlights that incorporate words featuring this prefix, showcasing the versatility of the English language with terms like Recycle, Reuse, Repurpose, Repost, and Refurbish.

Rules of the Challenge

Organizing the 30-Day RE Coach4aday Challenge involves performing, writing, or sharing about an event that captures the essence of the prefix. connections.

Here is how to participate.

  1. Identify what word that uses the prefix RE you choosing for the day. It is okay to repeat words.
  2. Describe or share how you accomplished utilizing that word.
  3. Do this daily for 30 Days posting on social media with the hashtag #Coach4adayChallenge

Day 1-Repurpose

To kick off the challenge I am sharing a simple kitchen hack that involves the concept of REPURPOSING and to some degree RECYCLING.

If your kitchen is like many in America, you might have a paper towel rack or dispenser. When the roll is finished you discard the cardboard tube and place a new roll in the dispenser.

You may also have drawer filled with oversized utensils including tongs that won’t collapse.

That drawer often becomes the catch all in many kitchens.

One way to tackle the problem is when the paper towels are all used do not throw away the cardboard tube. Take it and allow it to become your storage holder for tongs.
