For March 2024 several of us will be participating in the “30-Day Shout-Out Coach4aday Challenge”. Today the recipient is DENNIS STUART

Full disclosure Dennis Stuart is my primary medical provider. He is also someone I consider to be a friend. That is a perk of living in a small community often times the people who provide you professional services are the same leaders you interact with socially.

March 6th-Dr. Dennis Stuart

At times, organizations such as hospitals may overlook the crucial role employees’ demeanor, professionalism, and empathy play in shaping their reputation with customers or patients. In the case of Dennis Stuart and his practice of family medicine, UNC Health in Lumberton, NC, demonstrates a commendable performance in this regard.

Look at what just a few online reviews have to say about Dr Stuart.

Our friendship blossomed in the early 2000s when both our families, along with our wives, joined a supper club orchestrated by Mary Ann Masters. Additionally, our bond strengthened as the Stuarts had four children, who intertwined with our five kids through school and sports activities. Over the years we have enjoyed some memorable meals along with surprising him for his 60th birthday. That was accomplished by his daughter Lauren working with Marily Prevatte to give him a great celebration in the Prevatte’s backyard.

Blessed to have Dennis as my primary care provider and more important as a friend. Here is a shout out Dennis for being an advocate for my health.

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
