Just two days left in the 30 Day Album #Coach4adayChallenge. For today my choice was the album TRAVELING WILBURYS Volume 1.

They were a supergroup of fantastic musicians who happened to be friends. They came together in 1988 and consisted of George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty, and Jeff Lynne. They put out two studio albums, the second to confuse everyone was called Traveling Wilburys Vol. 3. There never was a Vol. 2.

Traveling Wilburys Vol. 1

In researching the origins of this group I found a great timeline of all five artists and how they became associated with each other. Go to this link to learn more.

This album contains ten great songs each containing iconic voices and fantastic lyrics that all of us can relate to.

Discography

Will leave you with some great lyrics from the song “End Of The Line”.

Well, it’s alright, even if you’re old and grey
Well, it’s alright, you still got something to say
Well, it’s alright, remember to live and let live
Well, it’s alright, the best you can do is forgive

Listen to this album!

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
