Today contribution to the 30-Day Letter Writing Coach4aday Challenge is on ideas to REPURPOSE.

The challenge involves composing a letter to yourself when you were an earlier age. The goal is to focus on a value, habit, or choice that needs to be adopted or made.

Over the past weekend the philosophical conversation came up about living in a throwaway society. Participants in that dialog gave some answers to what can be repurposed. The letter gives my example.

Dear Creative Dan:

You don’t really have many creative ideas but there is one item you use in many different ways. That is a sheetrock bucket. Some of them have evolved from observation but most have come from reading about ideas others have.

List of Uses

Let’s start with the Five Gallon Bucket-Below is a link with ideas.

In addition to the bucket how about finding a new use for wooden drawers? My brother Pat Kenney is pretty clever with these.

My sister-in-law Jane Adams Gibson is one of the most talented artists I know, and she has used old windows as a canvas for her talents. Here are few pictures of her work.

These are just some examples of what can be reused.

Don’t throw it away Dan
