This month the #Coach4adayChallenge for September is to profile a biography of someone. Today the woman I profiled first name is AVA.

AVA Lavina Gardner was born in North Carolina on Christmas Eve 1922. Her birthplace was Grabtown NC. For those geographically challenged this unincorporated part of Johnson County is located about 9 miles southeast of Smithfield NC. From rural North Carolina she would go on to seen in 46 movies some good, some bad.

She was married to three notable men Mickey Rooney, Artie Shaw, and Frank Sinatra. Ironically Rooney and Shaw each were married eight times each. and Sinatra four times. Ava also had friendships or possibly dalliance’s with Ernest Hemingway and Howard Hughes.

Ava Gardner died at the age of 67 and her final resting place in Smithfield NC
