In 2021 Scott was inducted into the Chowan University Hall of Fame.

Dr. Scott Colclough spent two stints at Chowan His first stint at Chowan saw him serve as a Head Resident Director of Parker Hall and the defensive line coach for the football program. Scott spent three years at Chowan, meeting coaches and staff that helped guide him along in the collegiate athletic realm. He left Chowan for UNC-Pembroke to teach and coach and began working on his PhD at Middle Tennessee State University.  He was at UNC Pembroke until 1989 when he left to go teach at NC A&T.

In 1992 he left A&T to go back to Chowan. They were making the transition from a 2 year to a 4-year college. In 1998 he went to Middle Tennessee where he retired as Faculty Emeritus.

He has had a distinguished career, and I was fortunate to have a Hall of Famer as my assistant coach.

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
