Reading constantly helps me learn something new or revisit something I had forgotten. That happened yesterday with the word SATURDAY.
SATURDAY is named after the Roman god and planet Saturn; Saturday is the only day of the week that retained its Roman origin in English. Learning about the other days of the week can be found here.
For the 30-Day Poetry Coach4aday Challenge I wanted to read a poem about Saturday. For the record I supplemented that reading with a couple of songs also. Writing this post, I had songs turned up loud by Cat Stevens and Elton John playing.
