There was a poem written in 1934 that really captures the importance of REFLECTION. That poem was composed by Dale Wimbrow and is titled “The Guy in the Glass”

Reflection

I have read a number of articles and posts by fantastic leadership consultants/life coaches. One article by Jennifer Porter talks about the importance of REFLECTION.

Peter Drucker said:

“Follow effective action with quiet reflection. From the quiet reflection, will come even more effective action.”

Here is a video on the poem “The Guy in the Glass”

The Guy in the Glass

When you spend time looking inward you increase your emotional awareness. REFLECTION needs to include serious thinking about your character, actions, and motives. The danger for many is when there is no time for RELECTION our lives become a hamster going around on a wheel.

Human on Hamster Wheel

If you are tired of the same results in your life invest some time in Self-REFLECTION. Begin to understand the changes you need to make in your character and actions.
