For April I am participating in the 30-Day Quotation Coach4aday Challenge. Each day I profile a word then research an impactful quote about that word. Today the word is HOPE.

If you are looking for HOPE in your life read the works of leaders who have an abundance mentality. One person I recommend you consider following to get a daily dose of positivity is Jon Gordon. He can be found on Twitter @JonGordon11

Day 2 Word-HOPE

Resilient people are attached to HOPE. It is often the only virtue that they can count on in the darkest of times. My quote today is from an English Preacher who died in 1892. His name was Charles Haddon Spurgeon.

Hope itself is like a star—not to be seen in the sunshine of prosperity, and only to be discovered in the night of adversity.

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
