#Delivery December 20

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Amazon ships an average of 608 million packages each year, which equates to over 1,500,000 packages DELIVERED each day.

Delivery

When you combine what Amazon does with other UPS and USPS DELIVERIES that aggregate number becomes mind boggling.

We all love to hear the phrase free shipping and DELIVERY. We love the convenience but maybe, just maybe there is a gift in it for us when we take on the DELIVERY of a gift ourselves.

Our church First Presbyterian took on the task of DELIVERY this past Sunday. Members of the congregation, the Lacy McKenzie Bible Class, and church officers took on the task of bring poinsettias to some 70 folks.

The gift was well received by the elderly and shut-ins in our church community. Yet I kept hearing the same thing from the people making the DELIVERY. They received great joy in bringing someone else a gift.

Our church will have another opportunity to DELIVER on Christmas Eve with our Angel Tree project.

Don’t discount the joy of DELIVERING a gift to someone else. Don’t let Amazon, UPS, and USPS have all the fun.

Check out the two videos about the joy two drivers received when they in made a DELIVERY.
