There appears to be a constant during the COVID 19 pandemic that people miss their sense of COMMUNITY.

For many people to define COMMUNITY they recall memories of events, gatherings, and interactions. I am not sure there is a list large enough to include all the event cancellations that COVID 19 has caused. Each lost event eliminates the opportunity to strengthen an existing memory that define a current COMMUNITY.

A COMMUNITY is in essence a social unit. That unit has some element of commonality. What those elements can include is often wide ranging. It can be religion, geography, culture, values, interests, and occupation.

What often keeps a COMMUNITY alive and healthy is shared memories. I am quite confident that COVID 19 has created many new memories and COMMUNITIES.
