Never thought that magnetism and the 30-Day Poetry Coach4aday Challenge would get connected. Yet today it happens because I am writing about a poem that features the TIDES.

TIDES are caused by the magnetic pull of the moon and sun on the planet, and they occur in regular cycles that can be predicted. They are an essential part of life and even death. Understanding them is important in navigation and fishing. Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is an acclaimed poet, and he wrote about them along with publishing them.

The Tide Rises and The Tide Falls

If you research poems about perspective of life “The Tide Rises and The Tide Falls” is one you will often find. In addition to that it is without a doubt one of Longfellow’s most popular poems. It is a moving poem that depicts life and death through the image of the seashore.
