#Memory January 19

I wrote a post last week about Max Hertan and the number of 30 Day Challenges he has completed.
Max is pretty amazing and he has over 100K subscribers to his YouTube Channel. The challenge I profiled on January 12, 2020 was learning a new language in 30 days. I appreciate the encouragement that Tito Massol is giving me to get me to make this a future challenge. We will have to see if that is a challenge I take on in later months.
Today I want to share Max’s 30 day challenge to improve his MEMORY. In this challenge (this was his 20th) he learns how to memorize an 80-digit randomly generated number in under 15 minutes AND perhaps even more difficult he attempts to remember 60 names & faces in under 20 minutes!
The video is about 20 minutes long but gives some great tips on how he approached this MEMORY challenge.
He worked with a “Mental Athlete” named Daniel Kilov. Daniel has delivered a TED Talk on MEMORY.
Daniel employs the “Art of Memory”, a loosely associated group of mnemonic principles and techniques used to organize memory impressions, improve recall, and assist in the combination and ‘invention’ of ideas.
I strongly encourage anyone who is looking to take on a 30 Day Challenge to consider MEMORY. Max and Daniel do provide some great tips if you want to put in the time.
