October 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Celebrity Alma Mater Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will identify a celebrity and share where they attended college. For Day 22 it is on JACLYN DONOVAN.

How we define a celebrity is often shaped by social norms, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make our own choices. Today, I’ve chosen Jaclyn Donovan, who has been a 30-Day Challenge partner with Jeff Neelon and me since 2020.

What sealed my decision was discovering that Jaclyn who is famous skydiver is going to be part of the lineup in Moss Farms’ “Diving with the Stars” event on November 10, 2026. Not jumping out of plane but apparently jumping off a 10-meter platform.

Sometimes, a celebrity isn’t someone we see on television or in the movies, but someone whose courage, commitment, and willingness to take on new challenges inspire us.

Jaclyn’s professional education had her become a certified athletic trainer. She attended both Georgia Southern (Undergraduate) and University of Kentucky (Masters). Her career has seen her serve as a college athletic trainer, Division II Athletic Director and health care administrator

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career.
