Today for the 30-Day Movie Coach4aday Challenge I watched a movie on the BURBS.

My choice was located on Netflix and its official title is the “Burbs” starring Tom Hanks. The movie was released in 1989 and runs 1hr. and 42 mins.

Rational for watching this film is all the hype for Tom Hanks new release called “A Man called Otto” which made its national debut on January 13, 2023.

Synopsis

Pretty dark plot and it is on the thin side. The essence is Tom Hanks who plays Ray Peterson as an overstressed suburbanite and his neighbors on Mayfield Drive are convinced that the new family on the block is part of a murderous Satanic cult. The message is that paranoia can sometimes get the best of us.

Trust me Tom Hanks is in better movies.
