Today for the 30-Day Movie Coach4aday Challenge the daily prompt a film that is your “Guilty PLEASURE”.

There are many movies I have watched multiple times, but The Longest Day is at the top of the list. Released in 1962 it is an epic war movie about the invasion of Normandy in 1944. For a the 1960’s this was a really long experience in the theater. The Longest Day run time was 2 hrs. and 58 minutes.

The Cast

When you put together a long movie about an important historical event it often needs a blockbuster line-up of actors and boy does this film have that. Look at some of the award-winning people who were in this production. That is why I love watching this flick over and over. It has star power.
