Today for the 30-Day Ingredient Coach4aday Challenge my ingredient is ZINC found in a lot of sunscreen products.

Most of us probably remember seeing ZINC on that Periodic Table we had to become familiar with in Chemistry Class during our school days.

Products that use Zinc

Many products utilize Zinc Oxide. If you went shopping for the following items toothpaste, cold lozenges, bar of soap, diaper rash ointment, batteries, and sunscreen you would be bringing home products containing Zinc. Zinc oxide can also be found in make-up.

Sunscreen

Each morning before hitting the golf course I spray on Sunscreen. Have used a variety of products and am currently utilizing Coppertone Sport Mineral (50).

You can locate all the ingredients for this product at this link. The active ingredient is Zinc Oxide which is described as a physical sunscreen and is consider very good. There are also chemical sunscreens.
