Today at 5:30 p.m. my son Matthew will get married to his soul mate Hope. He will do that standing on the beach at Oak Island NC in front of family and friends.

Matt and Hope Kenney

They have asked me to serve as their officiant and I will have a number of speaking parts but not the VOWS. Matt and Hope are reciting their own VOWS no repeating after me.

VOWS are sacred or solemn promises. They are verbal signs of the act of making a committment. Matt and Hope have known each other for six years and they have endured and persevered thru a number of issues. Each of those trials demonstrated their committment to one another.

Excited to gain a daughter and watch them live out the VOWS they will make to each other.
