When it comes to restaurant choices many people prefer that their dining experience be UNIQUE. Sometimes that uniqueness doesn’t last forever or is accessible to all.

For the 30-Day State Trivia Coach4aday Challenge I went searching for what many in Wyoming consider the most UNIQUE restaurant. It appears it also gets rave reviews. The problem is the establishment is permanently closed.

Couloir

Inside the Teton Village (Jackson Hole) in Wyoming is where the restaurant called Couloir was located.

To get to the restaurant, you had to take the Bridger Gondola to an altitude of 9095′. The 12-minute ride took place in a private gondola cabin that climbed more than 2,700 vertical feet above the valley floor.

Couloir was located at the summit in Rendezvous Lodge at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Today the dining options at Rendezvous Lodge include the Deck. Apparently, the south facing deck offers stunning views. Here is some more bad news apparently in the winter sightseeing tickets are not available for the Bridger. That means Rendezvous Casual Dining is not accessible to non-skiers or snowboarders.
