For February 2024 several of us will be participating in the “30-Day RE Coach4aday Challenge”. The challenge involves utilizing a word that includes the prefix Re. Today my word is RESHAPE.

My six-year-old granddaughter finds immense joy in engaging with various tactile toys like Play-Doh and Legos. What truly captivates her is the ability to mold these materials into a myriad of shapes and imaginative characters, relishing the control she holds over her creations. Her enthusiasm and boundless positivity shine through as she explores this creative process.

Interestingly, many individuals yearn to reshape their professional and personal lives, yet they often find themselves immobilized by fear, unable to take even the first step towards change.

Rules of the Challenge

Organizing the 30-Day RE Coach4aday Challenge involves performing, writing, or sharing about an event that captures the essence of the prefix. connections.

Here is how to participate.

  2. Describe or share how you accomplished utilizing that word.

February 20-Reshaping Our Life

At some stage in life, many people experience a persistent, nagging sensation that they’re not living up to their desired self-image. Some opt to drown out this inner turmoil or numb themselves to the accompanying emotions. Meanwhile, others actively seek avenues to reshape and evolve into the person they aspire to become.

Those that began that journey usually do it in three steps.

  1. Clarify Your Vision: Take the time to reflect on what you truly desire in life. Define your goals and aspirations clearly, both in the short-term and long-term.
  2. Break It Down: Once you have a clear vision, break down your goals into smaller, manageable habits. Start small and focus on taking consistent, incremental actions that move you closer to your objectives.
  3. Embrace Change and Adaptability: Understand that reshaping your life requires embracing change and being adaptable. Be willing to step out of your comfort zone, challenge yourself, and learn from both successes and setbacks.

James Clear has a great quote-People don’t rise to the level of their goals and dreams they fall to their level of systems and habits.

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
