#Rejuvenate June 2

One of the downsides of the pandemic is it has many of us running out of energy. I began to wonder what steps we all could take to REJUVENATE our levels of energy.

One of the first ideas I believe help all of us become refreshed or REJUVENATED is to breathe. In 2020 I have added box breathing to my daily morning routine. Here is a link to that post.

I had a conversation with a higher education leader the last week in May. We discussed a mutual friend we both admire who is consistently putting others ahead of herself. That leader’s blind spot is not investing time in self-care.

Here is a post by Sarah Liddle on 40 Self-Care Techniques that can REJUVENATE someone.

I also want to share a video by Martha Beck on the power of rest to REJUVENATE. She uses a powerful reminder in this video that rest restores.

Also I am excited that yesterday’s post on the 30 Day Challenge of viewing a daily TED Talk has resulted in 10 readers saying they are in.

REJUVENATE yourself and join us.
