Today’s post is a RECAP of the April’s 30 Day Coach4aday Exercise Challenge.

In early February my doctor suspected that I might be having an issue with my spine. After some x-rays and assessment tests it was determined it was mild and could be improved if I would commit to a series of daily exercises involving my core and back. I tackled those as my challenge for April.

Results

Over the past 6 weeks I have been consistent in completing a series of exercises that I outlined back on April 1st. In addition to a daily regimen at home I also went in for Physical Therapy once a week. Many of those weekly sessions I encountered new stretches and resistance reps that I would add to my daily schedule.

On Tuesday April 25th I underwent an assessment from a Physical Therapist to determine improvements. I was excited to hear that there was improvement in several areas including hamstring flexibility, glute strength, and range of motion without discomfort. I was released from PT.

As with a number of my 30-Day Challenges these exercises have now become a new daily habit. If there is any single one benefit of taking on something new is that it creates a better version of you.
