#Quotes April 1

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Today is the first of the month so it is time to kick-off a new 30 Day Coach4day Challenge. For April the quest is “QUOTATIONS”. This month will mark the 28th consecutive month myself and others have taken on a new challenge. The list can be found at end of post.

Challenges are designed to help us grow, change, and learn. Learning can occur in a lot of ways and sharing a favorite quotation can motivate, inspire, or just make us think. I have friends on various platforms that post a quote each day. One person I recommend you consider following on Twitter is @watsurinfluence. Kevin Haslam is the person behind that Twitter handle, and he has a lot of interesting roles in his life. He is the founder of a motivational LLC and Vice President of Advancement at University of North Alabama.

30 Day Quotation Coach4aday Challenge Guidelines

  1. Each day in April pick a single word.
  2. Using that word share a quotation that highlights that word. When sharing use the hashtag #Coach4adayChallenge
  3. Please make sure you provide attribution to the quote you select

Hope you will consider joining Jeff Neelon, Jaclyn Donovan, and myself in this challenge.

Day 1 Word-Faith

Almost all of us encounters a difficult situation that we have trouble believing can be resolved. J.M Barrie wrote a book that has entertained audiences in print, on stage, and in film for over 100 years. That book was “Peter Pan” the story of a boy who refused to grow up.

There is a quote in that book that may help all of us when faced with dark moments.

All you need is faith, and trust, and a little bit of pixie dust.

For me the pixie dust is the power of prayer.

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
