When you read and write everyday it is inevitable you will come across new words. Over the weekend I came across MICROLEARNING.

Simply put MICROLEARNING is a method of learning through bite-sized lessons. That instruction can be in the form of a quick email, sharing a blog post, or an individual encounter. One important reminder for leaders especially those that oversee the performance of others is to remember that a micro lesson is often a reminder.

Examples might include appreciation or recognition for how someone handles something.

If you are interested in implementing a MICROLEARNING course Google has a template. They call it a “whispering course”. The beauty is these courses are short and encourage the receiver to try them.

MICROLEARNING is better than no learning.
