For the 30-Day State Trivia Coach4aday Challenge I have learned some interesting things about Wyoming. Today I am posting about an unusual MANSION.

If you get to drive on the Buffalo Bill Cody Scenic Byway going thru Wapati Valley WY, you will see quite a sight. Sitting on top of a ridge is a towering and rambling log structure known as the Smith Mansion.

There is a great article on the place written in 2012 by the NY Times. The house which was all built by hand by Francis Lee Smith. He actually died working on the house when he fell from a second-floor balcony.
