For October 2023, I am participating in the “30-Day 30 Words Coach4aday Challenge” where the topic today is GRATITUDE.

October 13th Topic
In January of 2020 I undertook my first 30-Day Challenge. I have been doing one each month since. Almost four years ago my first monthly habit was to write three things I was grateful for each morning in a journal.
Every day I identify and record events, people, emotions, relationships, or experiences I am grateful for. It is a habit I continue to practice 45 months later. I am convinced it has led to me being happier and more excited about my life.
Thanks to my friend Jim Herlihy I was able to take a concept found in a book by Bob Beaudine called “The Power of Who” and create a new habit I call “Gratitude Friday”. That practice is simply reaching out to people that have influenced, guided, or inspired me and letting them I am grateful for their assistance.
There are lots of articles online about 30-day challenges that involve GRATITUDE including this one called The 30 Day Gratitude Challenge by Toby Miller
