On Saturdays when possible I sneak off to Dunkin Donuts and get myself a donut or two.
We also have a great place to get croissants in Lumberton NC called Cakes and Pastries.
I love bakeries and it truly is one thing I miss about my home in New Jersey.
Back in 2016 I did a post where I reminisced about Danziger’s Bakery which was located in my hometown of Morristown NJ. Going to Danziger’s after church on Sundays was a treat in our family growing up as child.

So what makes a great bakery? Some answers might include the number of items they have. Some might respond the variety of cakes. For me it starts with the bread. Does a bakery have great bread. That is what I miss about Danziger’s. I loved their poppy seed hard rolls.
