For the month of August, I am participating in the 30-Day Phone Apps Coach4adayChallenge. Today the focus is on housing marketplace app called ZILLOW

The goal each day is to explore a different application each month that I could use or experiment with on my iPhone or desktop.

August 28-Zillow-Housing Marketplace App

Zillow is a prominent online real estate marketplace that provides information and tools for buying, selling, renting, and financing real estate properties.

Here is some of the features of their phone app

  1. Property Listings: It aggregates real estate listings from various sources, including real estate agents, brokers, and homeowners. Users can search for homes, apartments, and other types of properties for sale or rent.
  2. Home Value Estimates: They provide estimated property values, commonly referred to as “Zestimates.” While these estimates can give users a rough idea of a property’s value, it’s important to note that they might not always be accurate, as they rely on algorithms and publicly available data.
  3. Market Trends: Zillow offers insights into local real estate market trends, including historical price data and forecasts. This information can help buyers, sellers, and investors understand how the market is evolving.
  4. Home Financing Tools: Zillow provides mortgage calculators and tools to help users estimate their mortgage payments, explore loan options, and find lenders.
  5. Real Estate Agent Directory: Users can find real estate agents and brokers in their desired area through Zillow’s directory. Agents can create profiles and showcase their services to potential clients.
