#Watercolor February 23
We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.
In February 2026, many of us will participate in the 30-Day Six-Word Coach4aday Challenge. Each day, we’ll tell a story using just six words in response to that day’s prompt. A daily six-word story challenge encourages clarity, creativity, and intentional reflection by forcing us to distill our thoughts into what truly matters. Regular writing supports brain health by strengthening memory, improving focus, and encouraging deeper cognitive processing through reflection and creativity. Today the prompt is WATERCOLOR.

Six Word-30 Day Challenge Guidelines
As with previous challenges, participants are encouraged to adapt the guidelines to fit their own circumstances. If you can, commit to sharing an ingredient from a food label during the month of February.
- Locate today’s prompt found below and write a six-word story using the prompt word.
- Share with a challenge partner if you have one.
- Join the conversation by posting on social media with the hashtag #Coach4adayChallenge
Prompts Day 1-30
The idea for this challenge comes from Home in Heels website. The creator is an author named Barbara who lives in Wisconsin and I am posting the free download she offered which is shown below

Day 23-Watercolor Story
Every child discovers something that captures their interest. Sometimes it’s just a passing phase, but other times that spark grows stronger with time. That has certainly been the case with my eight-year-old granddaughter, who spends hours expressing her creativity through art. One of her early masterpieces—a watercolor she painted in first grade—remains especially memorable. In fact, it holds a prominent spot on our refrigerator—which, for grandparents, serves as our own Metropolitan Museum of Art.

My six-word watercolor story
“Granddaughter’s watercolor invitation shines brightly.“
