For January 2025, several of us are taking part in the 30-Day Song Lyrics Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we utilize a theme and post the song lyrics from a song that connects the two. Today my theme is on Trust, Loyal, and Faithful my song is A MATTER OF TRUST.
Billy Joel by one account has written and recorded 121 songs in his solo singing career. Here is a list of those tunes. Charting in at Number 86 is my selection today is A Matter of Trust. This was the second song on his 10th studio album called The Bridge. The song and album were released in 1986.
Joel is dubbed the Piano Man but when this song is played in concerts, he does it with a guitar.

The music video I have selected was depicted to being shot in a basement apartment. Christie Brinkley (who was Joel’s wife 1985-1994) appears in the music video holding the couple’s baby daughter, Alexa.
