Today for the 30-Day Movie Coach4aday Challenge I watched a film about a golfer nicknamed the SHARK.

Greg Norman was dubbed the “Shark” early in his professional golf career. That monicker came as a result of him doing an interview after a tournament where he revealed he hunted sharks back in his homeland of Australia.

ESPN “30 for 30” did a documentary on Greg Norman in 2022 called the “Shark“.

This journalistic video is combination biography and insight into some of his near misses in major golf championships. Much of the film centers on his three close finishes at Augusta National in 1986, 1987, and 1996.

Many sports historians put Norman’s collapse in 1996 at Augusta National as the biggest in the history of golf’s major championships.

Today Norman not only is involved with his own business interests with the Greg Norman Company but he is also CEO of LIV Golf.
