If you live in North Carolina and like to read NOVELS I have info to share. Sometimes fiction can teach us facts.

Libraries can do a lot for those interested in learning. They also can research topics that people may have a historical interest in. The 30 Day #Coach4adayChallenge for July is to share something about history. I am going to point those that like to read NOVELS about various parts of North Carolina in the correct direction.

The University of North Carolina Library is just such a place.

All of the books at this site are available in their North Carolina Collection. Some can be accessed in their entirety from your computer. The digital copies have been created by a variety of digitization projects, and each project presents the books in a slightly different way. In every case, the novels are free to view.

I wanted to find what NOVELS they listed for Robeson County and I suspected Nowhere Else on Earth by Josephine Humphrey would be included and it was. Then there was Exit 22 by P.M Terrell which is about a weekend in Lumberton NC

If you want to see the complete list for Robeson County (NC) go to this link

NOVELS even though they are fiction still have the ability to give us historical facts and perspective.
