Today for the 30-Day Sign Coach4aday Challenge I am focusing on the signs you may have MOLES in your yard.

Playing golf 4 to 5 times a week has me observing changes to my local golf course. Over the past year I have been amazed on how long a MOLE burrow can change in one day. Below is an example of a sign that you may have a MOLES.

FAQ or Signs

Moles can dig up to 18’ an hour. When I first learned of that has fact it amazed me. It also explained how those burrows covered so much territory in 24 hours.

They build burrows deep underground and then dig temporary tunnels off those. Seldom is the same tunnel used more than once.

These surface tunnels can be a definite sign of moles in your yard. Tunnels leave your lawn or fairway looking lumpy and raised. Another sign of moles in your yard is molehills. While molehills are much less common than tunnels, they can still be found. They are usually less than 6 inches tall and are often shaped like a football or a volcano.
