For today’s 30-Day Baseball Coach4aday Challenge post I am reporting on JUAN Marichal.

Juan Marichal, born in the Dominican Republic on October 20, 1937, is a former pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants from 1960 to 1973. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers in the history of the game.

He was elected the 1983 Baseball Hall of Fame and became the first Dominican to receive that accolade.

FAQ about Juan Marichal

  1. Unique Leg Kick: Marichal was known for his distinctive high leg kick delivery. He would lift his left leg high above his head before unleashing a powerful pitch towards the plate.
