October 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Celebrity Alma Mater Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will identify a celebrity and share where they attended college. For Day 28 it is on JEFF NEELON.

Last week, I wrote a post about actor Jonathan Goldsmith, who portrayed “The Most Interesting Man in the World” in the Dos Equis commercials. In my world, that title belongs to Jeff Neelon. If you don’t know Jeff, there’s a good chance he knows something about you! Without a doubt, Jeff has the most diverse collection of friends of anyone I know. His network of relationships is remarkable, and you never know who he might know or what connection he might have to someone in your life.
Jeff Neelon is a former financial adviser and longtime Robeson County, North Carolina, business professional who later relocated to Winston-Salem to be closer to his family. Jeff and his son, Josh Neelon, opened an ARCpoint Labs of Winston-Salem franchise, offering laboratory testing and related services. He was born in New England moved to Chapel Hill NC and attended UNC Chapel Hill. After college he found his way to Fairmont and Lumberton NC. I can personally attest that both of the communities miss him.
