November 22nd Combo of the Day-French Fries and Gravy

If you grew up in Northern New Jersey, you know how prevalent a diner is in each town. Diners in NJ are unique due to their diverse menus, 24/7 operations, cultural fusion, homestyle cooking, iconic atmosphere, role as community hubs, large portions, and the decades-old tradition they represent. There are some 554 municipalities, boroughs, towns or cities in NJ. Almost every resident is near one.

For native Garden Staters putting brown gravy on crinkle cut fries is the norm. Often it is just ordered as “Gravy Fries”

Not to confuse anyone but the French fry combination that is most ordered in Northern NJ Diner is called “Disco Fries”
