Last week I finished a year long project to create a Family Tree Book for the descendants of my mom’s parents Henry Charles and Bridget Bambrick Lynch (my grandparents).

Henry Charles Lynch and Bridget Bambrick Lynch Family Tree Booklet

I mailed this booklet off to my 20 plus COUSINS.

I have to admit that I needed a refresher course on what defines a COUSIN and all the variances. You have first COUSIN once removed, second COUSINS, and third COUSINS. How to do you keep track of all of those differences? Well for me I found a very informative video that helped guide my research.

I read somewhere that our COUSINS often are first real friends. For me growing up the child of mom who had five older siblings that was true. I think most of my COUSINS will attest we spend lots of Sunday visiting each other.

So if you want to find out if you have any first COUSINS once removed watch the video.

Merry Christmas to all of my COUSINS!
