If you are like me prior to 2020 your experience with CORONA involved a lime.

Since March I have learned a few things about a CORONA Virus and many other things associated with the word.

First the CORONA virus gets its name from the crown like spikes on its surface.

The Catholic Church actually has a Saint Corona. There are lots of media mentions of her. For the record she is not the Patron Saint of Pandemics that distinction goes to St. Edmund the Martyr, who died in 869 in England.

Despite St. Corona not being the Patron Saint of Pandemics that hasn’t stopped people from adopting her for that role. The Sophia Institute Press, a Catholic publisher in New Hampshire, last week decided to print its first run of St. Corona prayer cards. Thousands sold out immediately.

That ZOOM went from a video conferencing app to the way people social distance themselves. Zoom was founded in 2011. I think Zoom will always be associated with the CORONA Virus.

Human coronaviruses were first identified in the mid-1960s. The seven coronaviruses that can infect people can be found at this link.

CORONA is going to change our lives and world moving forward. Exactly how I am not sure but I have the highest degree of confidence that it will. That will be a legacy of CORONA that it changed us.
