#50Coins March 26

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

In March 2025, several of us are taking part in the 30-Day Math Puzzle Coach4aday Challenge. Each day, a new puzzle is posted, giving readers twenty-four hours to solve it before the correct answer and explanation appear in the following day’s blog—alongside the next challenge. Today the math puzzle is called 50 COINS.

30-Day Challenges serve a purpose of self-improvement. Solving math puzzles strengthens critical thinking, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills by challenging the brain to recognize patterns and think creatively. It also helps improve memory and cognitive flexibility, keeping the mind sharp and engaged. There are many over the counter supplements for memory enhancement claiming to help us do this but exercising the brain is still better in my opinion.

Math Puzzle #26-Answer

Yesterday’s puzzle involved shooting hoops. The challenge was that a point is scored when the ball lands on an orange square. Give the coordinates of the last square that should be orange.

Answer: 6F. Points are scored on intersections where the number corresponds with the letter’s place in the alphabet. A is first letter of alphabet and found in Row 1, D is 4th letter of alphabet and found in row 4, and G is the 7th letter of alphabet and found in Row 7.
