Punk Song-“All I want for Christmas” by My Chemical Romance
Punk songs are not my thing. Today is also Christmas so I attempted to locate a Punk Rock band that performs a holiday song. What I discovered was there were quite a few. I choose “All I Want for Christmas”. It was a song first recorded in 2007 by American singer Mariah Carey for her fourth studio album and first holiday album, Merry Christmas. It was written and produced by Carey and Walter Afanasieff.
With the prompt being Punk Songs I selected the band “My Chemical Romance” version of the song.

The upcoming prompts include the following:
January 1, 2023 – Garage Rock
January 8, 2023 – Paisley Underground
January 15, 2023 – Metal Music
This sounds very different from the Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey version. Nice choice.
