February 17-How to Refresh Cache and Cookies

Cache: When you visit websites or use certain apps, they often store data locally on your device to speed up subsequent visits. This cached data can include images, scripts, and other elements of web pages. While caching can improve loading times, it can also consume storage space and potentially expose sensitive information if not handled correctly. Users often forget to periodically clear their cache, leading to a buildup of unnecessary files.

Cookies: Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device by websites you visit. They serve various purposes, such as remembering login credentials, tracking user activity for analytics, and personalizing content. While cookies can enhance the browsing experience, they also raise privacy concerns, as they can be used to track users across different websites. Many users are unaware of the types of cookies stored on their devices and may not realize the extent of tracking and profiling that occurs. Clearing cookies regularly can help mitigate these privacy risks and prevent unwanted tracking.

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
