Today is a RECAP of the 30 Day Knot Tying #Coach4adayChallenge.

Over the past 30 days I along with Jaclyn Donovan and Jeff Neelon have been learning to tie a wide variety of knots.

This challenge was not easy because it required persistence and practice to be able to successfully learn how to tie a variety of knots. My list included knots used on neckties, outdoor uses, in the kitchen for food prep, and general household applications. For some of the knots it was reliving my Boy Scout days with simple knots like the square knot, Bowline, and Sheet Shank Knot.

Knots Tied in October

I was able to successfully learn how to tie the following 11 knots depicted below. Additionally I added 4 knots that I used on neckties.

Square knot
Half Hitch
Sheet Bend Knot
Bowline
Butcher’s knot
Anchor Hitch
Taut Line
Triple Overhead Stopper Knot
Button Knot
Round Turn and two half hitches
Double Fisherman Bend

Monday November 1st is it on to a new 30 Day Challenge-Hope you will consider joining in.
