#Recap June 30

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

In June 2025 many of us completed the 30-Day “On This Date” Coach4aday Challenge. Each day, the challenge encouraged us to engage in a meaningful or enjoyable activity inspired by a historical event, anniversary, or personal memory tied to that specific date. Today I’m going to do a RECAP of the past month.

June 2025 Recap

In profiling certain individuals there were accomplishments of their life beyond what gave them notoriety I found interesting. One example was that Helen Keller was instrumental in the creation of the ACLU as one of the co-founders.

This month also let me learn about Babe Ruth being part of a combined no-hitter in baseball with Ernie Shore even though Ruth only faced one batter.

Appreciate Jeff Neelon and Jaclyn Donovan for their insightful posts each day with this challenge.

The three of us have been involved in 30-Day Challenges since January 2020. Today marks the end of 66 consecutive months of us completing a different challenge. Tomorrow, we begin number 67.

July 2025 Challenge

Thanks to a great idea from Jeff Neelon the 30-Day Coach4aday Challenge for July 2025 is going to focus on tools. People use a wide range of tools in both their professional and personal lives to enhance productivity, organization, and communication.

In July you get to identify a tool that helps people accomplish a task. The tools can be physical or even digital. More details in tomorrow’s post.

Coach4aday

My purpose in life is to coach. I am a former collegiate basketball coach, director of athletics, and chief of staff. I worked at four NCAA Division I & II universities during my career. At each campus I learned timeless lessons on teamwork and leadership. Today my passion is coaching others on what it takes to lead, serve, and succeed.
