Today for the 30-Day Sign Coach4aday Challenge my post is about PLATT’S.

Vacationers to the Grand Strand in South Carolina become familiar with a few iconic places. Brookgreen Gardens, Boulineau’s, and Sky Wheel.

Weeklong summer vacations at a rental house in Myrtle Beach often include a seafood dinner cooked at home. Most people who vacation, visit, or live near North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove to be exact) are familiar with PLATT’s.

Eugene Platt’s Seafood was established in 1970 and has been in business fifty plus years. They will sell you live lobsters, blue crab, oysters, clams, shrimp and a bountiful selection of whole and filleted fish. They will also fix you a Low Country Boil including shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn-on-the-cob. You can add crab legs and clams if you want also.

On Saturday after a golf outing with friends in South Carolina we all sat alongside the ICW on a dock and enjoyed some of Platt’s Seafood Magic.

Maybe you don’t want to buy seafood but want to catch your own. Well, Platt’s can help you there also. They sell rods, reels, artificial lures, rigs, nets, crab traps, minnow buckets, and fresh bait.
