#Perspective September 5

I am guilty of sometimes of not correctly putting into PERSPECTIVE just how wonderful my life is. Especially today as Hurricane Dorian is hovering off the coast of the Carolinas.

Putting our lives in perspective

I often remind others of the dangers of relying on comparison of our lives with others. The risk is we almost always find someone who we perceive of having it better.

I do believe we all can use a dose of PERSPECTIVE to bring out the gratitude we should be showing to GOD for the life we have. We need to do this even when we are facing or in the middle of a storm.

I read a quote last week about there is someone in the world who would love to have one of our bad days. One of our bad days does not mean we have a bad life. That is a point of PERSPECTIVE.

When we lose PERSPECTIVE about the many blessing in our life we soon can find our hearts becoming ungrateful. Becoming ungrateful leads to a whole host of negative emotions.

Want to gain some PERSPECTIVE and restore gratitude read these facts on world poverty.

I am not a world renown author but my PERSPECTIVE is you took time to read this and for that I am grateful.

I am also grateful that no storm not even Dorian can outlast the SON.
