For the month of August 2024 several of us are going to take on a 30-Day County Coach4aday Challenge. The simple concept is to share a fact about a county in the US. My focus is going to be on North Carolina, and today I am selecting MADISON County.
Located deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina lies Madison County. The county was formed in 1851 from parts of Buncombe County and Yancey County, and it consist of mainly rugged mountains and forest.
