October 2026 several of us are going to take on the 30-Day Celebrity Alma Mater Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we will identify a celebrity and share where they attended college. For Day 18 it is on KEN JENNINGS.

Like many of the celebrities featured this month, Ken Jennings attended more than one university. If his name is unfamiliar to you, you may not be a regular viewer of the television quiz show Jeopardy!, where Jennings became famous for his remarkable winning streak and impressive trivia knowledge. In 2026 he serves as the host.

Jennings started out attending college at University of Washington. He is a member of the Church of Latter-Day Saints and fulfilled a two-year mission to Madrid Spain after his sophomore year. When he finished, he enrolled at BYU and graduated with a degree a double major in English and Computer Science.
