As part of the 30-Day Curiosity Coach4aday Challenge in July, I have dedicated today’s focus to determining the number of inhabited ISLANDS in North Carolina.

The mechanics of this challenge involve presenting a question and subsequently uncovering the optimal response.

July 23rd Curiosity Question

How many inhabited islands are there in North Carolina?

Summertime brings many visitors to North Carolina to vacation at its many islands.

Vacationing at these places offers a blend of scenic coastal beauty, charming beach towns, and a variety of recreational activities such as fishing, kayaking, and surfing. Visitors can enjoy pristine beaches, explore historic sites, indulge in fresh seafood, and experience the laid-back coastal lifestyle that makes North Carolina islands a popular destination for relaxation and outdoor adventure.

July 23rd Answer

Here is the list:

  1. Bald Head Island
  2. Hatteras Island
  3. Ocracoke Island
  4. Roanoke Island
  5. Topsail Island
  6. Wrightsville Beach
  7. Figure Eight Island
  8. Holden Beach
  9. Oak Island
  10. Sunset Beach
  11. Carolina Beach
  12. Emerald Isle
  13. Atlantic Beach
  14. Pine Knoll Shores
  15. Indian Beach
  16. Bogue Banks (includes towns like Atlantic Beach and Emerald Isle)
  17. Ocean Isle Beach
