June 2026 several of us are going to take on theĀ 30-Day Movie Scene Coach4aday Challenge. Each day we share a YouTube clip from a movie and explain what is intriguing about that particular scene. It is a simple daily activity of sharing a Movie Scene. My focus today is on HAPPYNESS from the 2006 film “The Pursuit of Happyness” starring Will Smith.
This month marks the 78th consecutive month that friendsĀ Jeff NeelonĀ andĀ Jaclyn DonovanĀ have taken on some sort of challenge. Movies that feature a portable bone density scanner are not common. The Pursuit of Happyness tells the true story of Chris Gardner played by Will Smith, a struggling bone density scanner salesman who faces homelessness while raising his young son. Despite overwhelming setbacks, he refuses to give up on his dream of building a better life. The film is an inspiring story about perseverance, sacrifice, and hope.
